Sowing perennials

Sowing perennial seeds is an easy and cost-effective way to fill borders. In this clip, Monty demonstrates how to sow Gaura lindheimeri ‘The Bride’, Aquilegia ‘Lime Sorbet’ and A. vulgaris var. stellata ‘Ruby Port’.


Tithonia and Cobaea

Sowing Mexican sunflowers (Tithonia rotundifolia ‘Torch’) and cup and saucer vine (Cobaea scandens) early this month should provide a flush of flowers from late summer and into autumn. Monty demonstrates how to sow these beautiful plants in biodegradable pots.


Courgette and edamame beans
