BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine invites you to enjoy a special online evening event with Monty Don and magazine editor, Lucy Hall where they’ll discuss Sustainable Gardening.

Monty and Lucy will talk about the effects of climate change in the UK and how it is influencing our gardens, plus Monty will share his own techniques for wildlife-friendly gardening and how he implements organic garden management at Longmeadow.

At the end of the talk, you will have the opportunity to ask Monty questions.

Your event hosts

Monty Don first hosted Gardeners’ World in 2003-2008, from the shared garden at Berryfields, and has led Gardeners’ World from his private garden, Longmeadow, since 2011. Monty also writes a monthly column and features for BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine, and features in three of the magazine’s latest podcasts, on the health benefits of gardening, wildlife gardening and organic growing.

Lucy Hall has been Editor of BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine since 2012, having worked on the title since 2003 – joining the BBC at the same time as Monty took over as lead presenter, and working with him on magazine content from both locations. She is a keen gardener, based in the Cotswolds.
