Nestled among the Surrey Hills, Wotton House is a 16th Century country estate. Its beautiful gardens were created by avid botanist and arboriculturalist John Evelyn and his brother George, with the Italian Renaissance in mind, making them one of the first Italian-style gardens in the UK. The 13 acres of romantic, Grade II listed gardens are filled with mystical temples and ornamental fountains.
The hotel’s 1877 restaurant offers dishes inspired by elements of the Wotton House country estate, with menus paying homage to classic British cuisine with a modern twist.
The prize includes full access to the gym, indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. If you’re feeling more active, there are also tennis courts and a number of scenic walks along the banks of the Tillingbourne river.
