Cultivated for beauty, wildlife and food, these two-acre gardens were first established in 1565 and are divided into five distinct areas. One of the highlights is a large mandala-style permaculture area, where a colourful assortment of vegetables and cut flowers are grown. You’ll also find herbaceous borders, two glasshouses, wildlife habitats, ponds, sculptures, an orchard and woodland.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
