Win an overnight stay for two at Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, worth £390

Tylney Hall, Elite Hotels

As thoughts turn to spring, many of us dream about a country escape and a well-earned break in the English countryside.

Elite hotels are offering one winner the chance to stay at Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, near Hook in Hampshire. Sitting in 66 acres of rolling countryside, this grand Victorian Grade II listed house offers 113 individually-designed bedrooms and suites. It also boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire, lined by giant redwoods. The Gertrude Jekyll-designed water gardens are a particular highlight, with striking water features and lakes, an Italian garden, and wild orchid meadow. The winners will be able to enjoy a roaring fire in Tylney’s elegant lounge, with its ornate ceiling (originally designed for the Grimation Palace in Florence, before being painstakingly relocated to Hampshire). They will then receive dinner in the two AA-Rosette Oak Room restaurant, where they will be offered signature dishes with a British twist, plus seasonal specialities. The hotel’s health suite also features indoor and outdoor pool, five treatment rooms, and a gym.

Three times a year, the hotel also holds Garden Open Days as part of the National Garden Scheme.
